Long Days At Home

There is something about staying home all day that makes an ordinary day seem to last forever. My kids don't allow me to get anything done at home. Just trying to unload a few dishes in the dishwasher is a huge production and usually ends with me having Kennedy on one hip while I try and put the last of the dishes away. Now, on to what REALLY gets me.....as SOON as Eric gets home Kennedy and Madison are fine! Kennedy is content on the floor playing instead of my arms (which didn't happen ALL day) and Madison is a sweetheart. He probably thinks I'm crazy when I talk to him at work and tell him it's been "one of those days". He comes home and everyone is happy and content but I'm exhausted! I sent them all to the park to play so I could have a few minutes of quiet, it's SO nice! I love my kids but that time alone is so important. We need time to miss them.
