Bad, bad blogger!

I think this has been the longest I have gone without blogging a post since I've started my blog. I've been a very bad blogger lately. School, kids, classes, they gym, appointments, etc. have been keeping me very busy. I am also spending too much time on Facebook which has taken me away from my blog.


School is going well, it's very interesting but I think the upcoming test is going to be tough. I have to diagram out the entire four step process of cellular respiration as well as the regular questions of the test. I spent a few hours studying today and am feeling a whole lot better than I was although it's all so foreign to me still. I've never studied this type of stuff.


The girls and I had a pretty rough week. I am getting a lot of back talk and potty talk from Madison and it seems to get worse every day. I feel guilty for spending so much time at school/away studying or at the gym lately that I blame myself and think she is just needing some attention. I've given so much to the girls since they were born that I feel like it's time to take a little time for myself but I'm really struggling with the balance because she isn't adjusting well and it's making it difficult on all of us. She seems so much more grown up to me in the past couple of weeks too. Probably another consequence of being away a bit more than usual.


Eric and I are still really enjoying the gym. My dad was over visiting for a couple of days early in the week and he watched Kennedy two mornings so I could go while Madison was in preschool. I am still nervous to take Kennedy in there without Madison but I'm hoping she is used to it enough by now that she will be okay. I hope to try it on Monday. We went as a family today and that was fun as we don't get to do that very often. Eric has been working weekends for the past several weeks and this has been his first one off.


We had pajama day at our class this past week and the girls loved wearing their PJ's out of the house. It was lots of fun, there are a couple of pics of it at the beginning of this post.


The upcoming week is going to be even busier than the last one with a couple of doctor's appointments, a windshield replacement, a couple of other appointments, dance class, preschool, sibs class, one year old class, dinner out with the girls, WCC classes (including big test), a little babysitting and a V-day party. CRAZY! I'm really going to have to make the effort to give the girls some one on one time as life is just pretty full right now. Motherhood is such a balancing act and just when I think it's going okay things change.


The following week will be my nephew's heart surgery. That seems to always be on my mind and I think we're all looking forward to that being over with and for his speedy recovery from it.
