Home Alone

I'm home alone for a wee bit this morning. I'm so excited and have the radio playing (as opposed to kids music). I have a long list of things to do and am strangely excited to get some stuff accomplished around here in peace although I won' make much of a dent in the list. Eric took the girls to the story time at Barnes and Noble bookstore this morning and then they have a quick stop at Fred Meyer before they come home.
We've been hit by another round of stomach flu this past week. Kennedy has been since most of the week and Eric got it again too. They are both doing well today and most of yesterday but this is a bizarre illness and seems to come and go so we'll see. I'm really hoping we don't all get it again and we can resume to health this coming week.
I went to meet with the advisor at BTC on Thursday with no luck. Seems that ridiculous policy holds and you can't register for a class without them having transcript in hand. She even told me she is really backed up so it may take a while for her to input the info in to the computer once she does receive the transcript. It's really not the end of the world if I have to take the quarter off but it's not what I had planned to do. I will probably have to take summer off so I won't be able to go back until fall. Just for the heck of it I scheduled an advising appointment at Western next week. I'm sure I won't end up going there but I just wanted to know what it would take if I did.
Would like to write more but really need to get to my list. I have started limiting my computer use around the kids so I am trying to get a post in while they are gone.
I don't have time to explain right now but if you have some time to check this out it's totally worth it........
"Frontline: Growing Up Online". Google it or get to it through PBS.org and then Frontline.
I'll try to find it and post the link.
