Things have been pretty busy since my last post. Kennedy got a stomach bug (yes, again!) last week. She is better now but we've all had a touch of it I think. Our play structure is on it's way so we (actually, Eric) has been working hard to get the yard ready for it. There is still lots of work to level off the area so I'm not sure it will actually get completely done before the structure arrives. We'll see, should be close.
Eric removed about 50 sq. ft. of sod yesterday. Today he had to do a couple of non-related things so it slowed the process down. I'm trying to get my vegetable gardens planted but I think I'm trying to plan in too many projects at once. He went and got the compost today but we haven't put the beds down yet so it's still in the truck. Ugh, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with so much to do but I need to realize that if the structure doesn't get put up within 5 minutes of it getting here it's not the end of the world.
At least we managed to get rid of the sod Eric dug up. I put an ad on Craigslist for $20.00 and some guys came and loaded it up and took it away today.
My thoughts are a little scattered and I'm sure there is plenty more to tell but I rented a movie I've been dying to see (Slumdog Millionaire) so I'm going to try and make my way to bed to watch it.
I'll try to post more in the next day or two.
