Canning 101 Continued.....

5) Measure out ungodly amounts of sugar!

6) Cook fruit with pectin and then add the ungodly amounts of sugar which is more than the amount of fruit you started with.

7) Fill jars, seal and put into boiling water for 10 minutes.

8) Remove jars and wait for the wonderful pop they make when they have sealed. Say "Thank Ya Jesus" when they do (Eric says this with a laugh because his mom always used to say it when her jars popped.

9) Try and decide if you are going to actually eat the jam because you saw how much sugar actually went into it. You will try to resist but the effort was so great and you know how yummy it will be that you decide to eat it and.............YUMM-O!!!
