Fun in the Sun

As usual my pictures are out of order. This is Eric and Madison on our way back to Boulevard Park from Fairhaven. We had a fun day today that started with blueberry picking followed by some fun at Boulevard Park and Fairhaven.

We did a little celebrating at Katie's Cupcakes in Fairhaven in honor of K's 2nd birthday tomorrow. It's the cutest little cupcake shop. The girls both licked the frosting off the cupcake and took a bite or two of the cake and were done. I guess they are frosting girls. Eric finished off the cupcakes (yeah, even though they licked them...gross!) and said they weren't that good. I would love to own a little shop like this and make yummy cupcakes : ) Probably not the best idea for me though!

Madison picked a book out for Kennedy for her birthday. That's my girl! A book about Earth day : )

We went to Hannah's Blueberries on Enterprise this morning. We picked 6 lbs. The berries were small but Oh So Good! We went with some friends and had a great time. It uses the honor system and you can pick anywhere you want. Boxx Berry is great but they get a little testy if you are not picking in your designated area or doing something wrong. They had lots of berries in all different stages so I suspect they will have lots of berries for weeks to come. We will definitely go back soon for more. The heat was getting to all of us so we left with our loot. We are already going through them fast. Some 1 point blueberry muffins are in my near future, mmm! Fun filled day with the family and a little distraction for me because I'm feeling a little anxious about Kennedy turning two tomorrow. She is our last baby and I love watching her grow but something about these birthday milestones make it a little too real for me.
