Christmas was a casual affair this year. It was just our little family and we enjoyed the quiet holiday and low maintenance of it all. Christmas Eve morning consisted of store bought cinnamon rolls, fruit, juice and two happy and excited girls.
On Christmas Eve afternoon we went to church and they had a professional photographer taking photos by the Christmas tree.
We weren't planning on doing this and would have all spiffied up a little more if we had known.
Matching PJ's! I get them matching PJ's every year. Unfortunately, every year getting a picture of them is more difficult.
Ah, there are my little Snow Belles!
We read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas as we ate our pumpkin pie and then Madison put out cookies and milk for Santa and some carrot sticks for his reindeer.
Santa had to wait a long time before two excited girls would go to sleep and he could eat his cookies.
Santa left Kennedy a book, a flower magic trick and a pair of Minnie Mouse pajamas. He left Madison two seasons of The Cosby Show (her absolute favorite), Cinderella pajamas and a tooth box she has been wanting.
Lastly, Santa left the girls a shelf with fabric bins. I discovered a Santa tracking website through Google Earth and had so much fun tracking where Santa was and showing the girls on the map. As he got closer and closer the girls got more and more excited. This was my favorite Christmas Eve ever.

Oh my! That picture of the girls by the tree (with Kennedy's backside) is fabulous! Definitely a keeper.
