I just called and checked with
Madrona on the various flu vaccines they offer. They DO NOT offer the
FluZone Shot for ages 3 and up in a
pre-filled or single dose, only the multi-dose vial. If you want to give a child 3 and up a flu vaccine that does NOT contain mercury they do have the nasal spray. Ask Dr. Sears says this one is actually a little more effective but can have some mild side effects. The health department said the kids sometimes get a runny nose.
