We had a fun family day today. We took a drive up to Mt. Baker. It has been years since Eric and I had been up there, well before I was pregnant with Madison. It was a beautiful day and a beautiful drive. We got out a little on top but we didn't dress warm enough, next time we will pack all the snow gear and a sled! We had a wonderful lunch at Milano's on the way back down. Eric and I ate there years ago so it was fun to take the girls there today, the food is wonderful. We stayed away from the baked goods but they were very hard to resist, there were cookies the size of dinner plates.
It was a nice way to end the weekend. We are going to try and make Sunday a "Family Day" from now on. Things that need to get done always seem to get in my way of making more time for family so this will be a good goal to strive for.

Big week coming up for us with my nephew's surgery. It's been weighing on everyone's mind so it will be nice to be with family this week and concentrate on my nephew's recovery.
