Project

I added the pictures out of order again but above is the swing set as of right now (Friday) and the below picture was taken yesterday minutes after we got the swings up. The girls have been having so much fun on it. Eric is hauling all the gravel and will hopefully finish today but he's less than half way so it might have to get finished tomorrow (he's been working so hard out there!) and then we'll start building the retaining wall around the perimeter. It's starting to look more finished every day!!! Yippee!

Madison actually gave Eric and myself a very sincere "Thank You" yesterday separately. She told us she really liked the swing set and thanked us for getting it for her and Kennedy. It was so neat since she thought to do that all on her own. I'm so lucky to have such great kiddos : )

I hope all of my mommy friends have a wonderful Mother's Day. We will probably be out in the yard on Sunday but if we manage to get a few hours hopefully we'll go and do something. I know moms are so often overlooked but I know how much I value all my mom friends and look up to them and appreciate what good mothers they are to their kids. I am so lucky to be friends with so many great moms who remind me what great parenting should look like.
