Happy Mother's Day

My beautiful Madison!
Mother's Day was a good one! We had a pretty uneventful and relaxing day for a change. I woke up to some lovely gifts that my oldest daughter picked out all by herself. I got a beautiful pink azalea plant, a card, a toothbrush, floss and a decorating magazine. It was so sweet knowing she took so much time and effort to pick these things for me, I'm a lucky mama! We played in the yard most of the day, planted my last vegetable bed, planted a few flowers and cleaned up the yard a bit more. We have neglected our yard for the past couple of years so there is a lot that needs done. Eric mowed the grass. That's about it! We did make a yummy dinner - bbq'ed pesto chicken, garlic red potato fries, macaroni salad, green beans with almonds and french bread. Dessert (as you can see in the pictures) was vanilla ice cream cones. The girls loved them and ate every last drop.

She wouldn't be Kennedy if she wasn't a mess. I love this face!
