Things stayed fairly nice when it was just one child. Madison has always been a pretty "clean" kid, not wanting to get too messy but Kennedy is a different story. If I didn't know better I would say they weren't even related. Above is a picture I just took of my couch cushion. Kennedy grabbed a pen from my desk and drew circles all over the cushion. I'm choosing to believe she is just being artistic and she felt inspired and unable to control her compulsion to create "art". I actually wasn't mad, with Kennedy I just have to laugh (although not when she can see me). I will do a better job of keeping the pens out of her reach and be glad I have another side to the couch cushion.
This is the wall next to Kennedy's side of the craft table. The point of this post to to remind myself not to buy anything expensive or nice until the girls are older. I would hate to always worry about my "stuff" getting ruined. They are only young once!
