Date with my Girl!

The other night I took Madison out for a date night. We had so much fun. She got to choose what to do so we went to Target for dinner (ha) and she got a hot dog. We looked around there for a little bit and got a few things we needed and then headed back to Ferndale to go to The Woods Coffee. She was so excited and had been waiting days for her special hot cocoa with extra whip. She enjoyed eating all the whip with her skinny straw and drinking most of the 12 oz. drink. Needless to say she was pretty wired afterwards so we took a little walk to the park in front of Haggen to burn off some steam. She had a great time but not as much as I had spending time with her. She's so amazing, I love her so much. It's so neat to watch the young lady she is growing up to be.

I start school next week and won't be home three nights each week so I wanted to get a date night in with her before that. I'll take Kennedy out for a date in the next several days and I can't wait! It's so fun to spend one on one time with them and it's very interesting to see how differently they act when the sibling is not around.
