Madison's birthday is the first one celebrated at preschool so she has been in charge of snacks last year and this year. This year we did mini cupcakes. She got a baking set last Christmas and it's so fun to use, she loves it.
I found a really yummy cake recipe on
MarthStewart.com. It made the best batter, Madison picked vanilla cake and vanilla frosting tinted pink. Here she is loading up her silicone baking pan (part of her set). Having a small kitchen is a big pain while baking but we made it work.

After the frosting, sprinkles and
caterpillar face. She is excited to take them to school. School starts soon so I better finish things up around here and get her off to her first day!!! I'll post some pics later of the big day!
