New Schedule

This year we are doing the afternoon preschool class. It feels kinda weird to be at home this morning with still a couple of hours to go before preschool starts. I think we are going to like it but it will take some getting used to. My hope is that I can come home and put Kennedy down for a nap after I drop Madison off to school. In theory it's a good idea but we'll see how it actually turns out. Kennedy isn't a very long napper but it will be nice to get a short break in the afternoon.
Eric is not having any better luck finding a job despite how long it's been. Things are looking grim. He's applied for a job but we are not getting our hopes up because there are probably hundreds of applicants (at least). We're just waiting and praying something will develop for him soon. He's working hard at finding something but I'm trying to remember this is not in our hands and there must be something good in store soon.
We have one more camping trip coming up this next weekend. We are going to Rasar State Park. As of yesterday they had a burn ban so we were getting pretty disappointed we wouldn't be able to have a campfire but I called and they had just lifted the ban. Hopefully it will stay that way for next weekend. We are learning a lot about camping and what to take and not to take. I spent two hours on Sunday making a comprehensive camping list. It's pretty ridiculous but it will be good for us to have so we can keep everything organized and know what we need to pack for each time. We hope to have several more camping trips next year.
I'm on my own today with Eric being busy with classes and things until late tonight so I better go get some stuff done. I will be ready for my night out tomorrow night. If anyone is up for a walk and coffee with me and a friend let me know. I didn't get my night out last week and I'm very ready for it this week.
