Whoo Hoo! The first snowfall of the year. On our way home from the holiday party we were met with some pretty icy roads and 4 cars in the ditches off the freeway an one in Ferndale. We took the Main Street exit only to have to make a U-turn after about 20 minutes and 1/4 of a mile later because there was an accident on the bridge and they were not letting any cars thru. When we finally made it home the girls were ready to get on their snow clothes and get out there in the snow!

Oh boy! She is actually wearing her new winter coat. I got this coat for her a few weeks ago because I felt like her preschool teacher was wondering why I always sent her in a thin coat on those cold days we had. Ugh, Madison has never been one for heavy winter coats and I let her choose what she wants to wear. I suppose she doesn't like all the bulk and I don't blame her, I remember not liking that as a kid myself. Today it was finally cold enough that she brought it to me ready for the tags to be removed : ) I managed to find this cute coat at Fred Meyer and it wasn't as bulky as a lot of them so hopefully it will get worn more than once.

Here is Kennedy sporting the winter coat Madison wore just last year. My little Eskimo and her poor chapped cheeks.

Making snow angels.

Dog Pile!
They had so much fun outside. Eric was the one out there with them while I was doing what seemed like 100 loads of laundry. I am not complaining, I was nice and warm inside and got to peek out the window and see the girls enjoying the snow.
