I planted some seeds in Jiffy Pots this year and here they are. They are growing fast but I'm wondering if I did it too early? I think the typical time to plant is towards the end of March. These still have room to grow but I'm not sure if they will last until the end of March before growing out of their little pots. I don't want to transplant 30 plants into larger pots so we'll see what happens. I may plant a few of the heartier ones earlier and see what happens. I lost of a lot of the onion/leek seeds last year because the birds ate them all so hopefully I'll get some of those this year. I'm excited for my garden. We are going to stick with our 4 boxes this year but might expand next year. I'm still new to this gardening thing but I just love going out to the backyard to pick fresh veggies.

Kennedy was being a little quiet today so I went to the kitchen and saw that she was sitting on the floor hiding behind the pantry door. I asked her what she was up to and she crawled around showing me (literally - opening her mouth) what she was eating. She had gotten into the fridge and got the big hunk of cheese that was in there and was eating it. That is one funny girl!

I see my pictures are out of order. Here is another picture of the indoor veggie starts.

A shot of Madison this morning with the sun shining in as we were snapping pictures of the veggies.
