Flagged down in the Tulips

As we were leaving LaConner we were lucky enough to see the famous LaConner turkeys.

They have the right of way in LaConner (it's an actual city law) so we stopped to let them pass in front of us. It was pretty funny watching them strut around like they own the town.

Madison was especially fond of the pink and purple tulips.

Despite large signs posted everywhere that inform people NOT to actually go INTO the tulip fields my husband didn't pay attention. So, I am one of very few people that have a photo of my daughter in the MIDDLE of the tulip field instead of standing next to it. I thought this was hilarious! They went into the purple and pink tulips and even were walking over the tulips. They did not harm any tulips in the process but I wish I would have been there to see it instead of trying to turn the car around in massive traffic while Kennedy was sleeping in the back. The guy finally caught up to him flagging them down (literally...with his flag) to tell them they couldn't be in there. PRICELESS!
