50+ Posts

I just realized I have more than 50 posts for the month of June. I ran out of things to say about 3 weeks ago but kept blogging anyway. I did lots of repeats (everyone can probably tell me exactly what is going on with my garden and how many days I have left of class by now).
I'll have to think of some new things to write about or just hold off on so many posts. Sheesh!
Today I took Madison to a movie (Toy Story 3). It was so much fun. After the movie was another story. Whenever I have special time with Madison she gets in a very bad mood when it's about to end. She starts getting very demanding and is just plain in a BAD mood. I'm sure some of it had to do with her being tired. She had a vaccination this morning and she got fairly worked up over it and probably didn't sleep well knowing it was happening this morning. She's in bed now reading with Eric and Kennedy so hopefully she will get some good rest. She was already crying tonight about me going to work (school?) tomorrow so the next few days will likely be very difficult for all of us around here.
We had a good weekend but I was so tired I felt like I wasn't fully here. I'm sure it will take me a couple of days after clinicals to recoup but we are staying in town for the holiday weekend and I'll hopefully get a chance to get back to normal.
With just a little instruction Eric made my favorite dinner tonight....grilled salmon, rice and grilled asparagus. I had eaten so much popcorn at the movie I wasn't that hungry but, unfortunately, that didn't stop me from eating the yummy dinner. I'm excited for this weekend to get out to the garden and pick some of the yummy stuff and actually cook. I've been missing home cooked meals. I love summer and all the fresh salads, yum! I'm getting lots of sprouts from the seeds I planted so I already need to do some lettuce thinning. I'm just worried I have so many expectations and plans for this summer that I won't have enough time to get it all done. I'll just get done what I can I suppose. The medium-big projects I have in my head will likely have to wait. All I know is that I can't wait for Thursday afternoon once my finals are over and I can put this class and this past month behind me. Fun stuff ahead!
