Annie

I have no idea what is going on with Blogger but loading my pictures from last night was really strange and they all went in out of order. Not only that I couldn't put any words in that post with the pictures. Also, in order to see them, you have to click on the little link that says "Read More" for the post previous to this one.

Anyway....

Last night I took Madison to see a production of Annie in Mt. Vernon. We had the most amazing time. I am a huge fan of Annie and have been since I was a kid so I had just as much fun as she did, at least! I wish I had been able to experience more live theatre as a kid because I really love it. There wasn't a lot of theatrical performances in Wenatchee though. We are so lucky to live here with so many activities to choose from. There is really something magical about sitting in a theatre when the orchestra starts to play and the curtain opens that is just so exciting. The cast did an amazing job and the orchestra was great. The play lasted 3 HOURS. Madison did great, there was an intermission that lasted about 20 minutes about 3/4 of the way through. I could tell she had a great time and she kept asking during the whole show if we could come back and watch it again. It was a great night!!

Since I couldn't put captions with the pictures and they are all out of order I'll just say there is one on our potty break, one walking up to the balcony, one inside before the show starts, one on the way down (with her Happy Meal) and one taken this morning....we didn't get home until about 10:30 p.m. so she was a tired kiddo today! All worth it though!

I didn't get any pictures of the cast. We could have stayed after but I thought it was too late to wait for them so we had to skedaddle.
