Happy Halloween

On Halloween we took the kids to the Trunk or Treat at Christ the King Church in Bellingham. It started at 3:00 p.m. which was perfect for little ones on a school night. What I was no prepared for was how much candy they would get. Because they are going from car to car in a parking lot they were getting so much more candy than they would have if they were walking from house to house. Everyone seemed to be giving out handfuls instead of one or two pieces. Everyone decorated their trunks really cute and the kids had so much fun checking them all out.

There were more than 100 cars there this year. It didn't take long before it got really crowded there and long lines started. We were there about an hour and the girls had full bags, Kennedy couldn't even carry hers because it got so heavy.

They had more stuff going on inside like carnival games and pizza but we headed out when the crowds got too big.

But not before a trip down the slide. The dress Kennedy is wearing was a fairly expensive princess dress I got at Fairhaven Toy Garden for her birthday. It's made really well and she loves it but she had the hardest time climbing up these steps in it and kept stepping on it. She ended up ripping it terribly. Of course, she didn't care but I had a little pout momentarily.

My girl is so full of spunk and life!

A couple more trunks on our way out and we were on our way back to Ferndale.

Here they are in Ferndale ready to hit the neighborhood.

They got more candy than I had ever seen. Another fun Halloween!
