Advent

I haven't been keeping up with daily blog posts to report what we have been doing for our advent activities. We have been doing things like family movie night with popcorn, going and looking at holiday lights, baking, crafts and gift wrapping. It's been a busy December but, thankfully, don't have a lot planned during the break. We will be having a low key Christmas at home with just us. I'm debating the Christmas day dinner but am thinking something nontraditional like lasagna.
Kennedy is officially out of diapers except for bedtime. Today was the first full day without. We had several accidents but she's really doing a good job. She drinks SO much water and milk that she has to go all the time. She was without Pull-Ups most of yesterday without one accident but Eric put one on her when he took her to the store. I have to go to the store tomorrow and am nervous about the car ride but I don't want to go back and forth with them so I made the call that she is officially done with them. She loves the idea and feels like such a big girl. She'll get there and I don't think it will take her long. We've got two weeks before preschool starts up again and I think she'll be doing great by then.
Now, I'm off to my potty soaked bed where she was sitting watching a movie this afternoon. Ho Hum!
