This is the 6th year that our playgroup has had a holiday party. When we began our kids were tiny little things that sat on the floor. It's quite a change from what they are all doing now but it's been so amazing to stay connected to the friends I had in the early days of motherhood and that the kids keep connected with the friends they have known since birth. Most of us don't see each other very often anymore but I'm thankful for the connection the couple of times a year we do manage to all get together.
There was a cupcake decorating activity.
Yum!
There was lots of food, gift exchanges and a story time. It was a wonderful evening.
