After my date with Madison I was feeling a big crafty. Since I'm not actually good at being crafty I picked a couple of small and easy projects and they turned out great! I made this ribbon board several years ago for Kennedy's room. Since we painted and redecorated her room it no longer matches but I didn't want to get rid of it so I redid the ribbon on it.
I needed something to break up this wall and have been looking for a monkey picture (since it's now a monkey room) but this worked even better. I love how it turned out.
The girls loved it too. Kennedy found a stuffed Christmas monkey that she has been clinging to. We had to bring in a couple of Christmas tubs to find the Christmas Cd's, yep...we have started listening to Christmas music. We did wait until November though.
After the ribbon board was done and hung I made the girls some fleece scarves. I did it the easiest way and just cut the strips of fabric with some fringe at the end that I tied. It took minutes to make but the girls loved them.
I think they turned out really cute too. Fun stuff!!

I keep wanting to make one of those ribbon boards. When I finally get a house where I have the wall space to hang one I will have to remember to pester you on how to make one. Those fleece scarfs are the best. I always make some each year.
