Here is Madison on class picture day. She wanted some braids in her hair the night before and I'm always amazed at how much older she looks with her hair like that. It's a reminder of how fleeting this time is and how I need to cherish every single minute of it.
I still can't help but see a bit of my "baby" in her face. I can't even being to say how much I love this little girl.
Today the pictures came home. Madison is on the top in the middle. She and the boy next to her are the tallest in the class.
I can't believe first grade of already more than half way over. It seems like yesterday that we were trying to navigate our way through that difficult kindergarten year and now she is quickly moving towards 2nd grade. She sure has come a long way.
