Project Bathroom-Spruce-Up almost complete!

A friend of mine gave me a really nice gallon of paint a few months ago and it's been staring at me. I knew I wanted to use it in the bathroom we just haven't had time to do it. We contemplated going out of town for a night during this long President's Day Weekend but I thought I would rather spend a fraction of the money on sprucing up the bathroom instead of spending several hundred dollars for a night away (gas, hotel, food, etc.). We were up late painting on Saturday night and we finished painting Sunday. It's hard to see the color in the pictures but it's a sandstone color and really pretty.

We had the most hideous light fixture in here. In fact ALL of the light fixtures in our house are hideous except the dining room light we replaced a few years ago. Eric put this one up last night and I like it so much better. We realized when we took the old one down that the hole to install it was off center from the mirror. I don't think most people would notice it but I do. It's still 99% better than it was before, I love it!

I got a new outlet cover but forgot to get the light switch cover so I'm going to wait and make sure they had a matching one before I put this one up.

Isn't it cute : ) I'm still undecided on the shower curtain so I might have to exchange the towels for a different color.

My new towel rack, curved curtain rod, PEVA liner and curtain hooks.

New rug and shower caddy.

These are the three shower curtains I am deciding between. I am leaning toward the one on the left but I don't love any of them. I wanted one with browns and turquoise and that one is the closest I could find but it's really more of a green/blue than turquoise and I prefer stripes to the geometric shapes. We'll see, I might love it when it's up.

I had to get a shot of my clean shower because I spent most of the day cleaning in there. I don't know why it takes me so long to clean but it does.
I can't wait until it's all done. I did it on the cheap (free paint and sale stuff...towels are super cheap at Fred Meyer right now) but it's going to be brand new to me and I already love it!
