Swing Shift

Eric had to work swing shift this week up until this morning. Things went okay but, as usual, everyone is exhausted. I actually enjoyed spending the evenings with the girls and putting them down for bed. Things were much more peaceful than usual although I'm sure it was just because of the change in routine. I am glad he is done with swing shift though so he can help out in the evenings again. It's such a huge help when he takes the girls outside to play or to the school so I can get dinner made in peace. It's been a long week and I commend anyone who's husband is gone out of town for work a lot or who routinely works nights - you deserve a break! It's tough.
