My Aching Back!

I don't know if it's her age or what but Kennedy will NOT let me set her down. Eric got home a little late tonight so I had to cook dinner with her in my arms and it wasn't an easy fete nor is my kitchen a pretty sight. Has anyone else gone through this with their kids? I know people are probably thinking - just set her down - but I've never been good at letting the kids cry so I don't like to do that. I know this falls under the category of WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION but I actually have had to "use the facilities" while holding her the last couple of days and it's been a little tricky. She was sick last week but is feeling better so I don't think that's it.
To put things in a little perspective I did read an article when Madison was just a newborn that was written by a mom and it was called "My Aching Arms". The article talked about how her arms always hurt from carrying her child ALL THE TIME. I don't want to be a downer but her child actually got ill and died and she talked about how her arms "ached" to hold him again. Anyway, every time I find myself complaining about it I always remember that article. I'm just belly-aching here and not really complaining. If she wasn't so darn cute I might complain but I do love holding her : )
