I've never been a gym person (I know, that is stating the obvious) but I was considering joining the new Thrive Community Fitness Center that will be opening in January. The membership fee is only $19.00 a month which is very reasonable. I called today to get more info and that $19.00 is good for as long as your membership is open (meaning if you don't quit and rejoin the price will not go up). The price is only good through November 15th if you are thinking about joining. What put me off was the price of the child care. It's $2.00 per child per hour. So, if I went just three times a week and took both kids it would cost me $52.00 per month - almost 3 times the price of membership. I know a few of you from Ferndale read my blog so if anyone is interested in some kid swapping for work out time let me know before November 15th. Link is below and it' looks like it's going to be a really neat facility.
