Christmas Morning

Here are a few pics of Christmas morning at our house. Kennedy LOVES balls and I got her this little pink and purple basketball that she loves. I think her absolute favorite gift was a new sippy cup, she carried it around all day long.

Wow, paper!

One of Madison's gifts from Santa was a harmonica. She loves it and has been playing it all day, especially for people on the phone when we have talked to family and friends. She's quite good at it!

Holding her harmonica and sitting next to her new blanket. Her third gift from Santa was a watch and she LOVES it too. She has a friend, Gavin, who has a watch and she has been wanting one so badly. She can't wait to show him.

Christmas was just us today at our house. It was so nice to have a laid back day and not be under stress to entertain or get things done quickly. The girls get matching PJ's on Christmas Eve (a tradition we started last year) and they actually wore them all day long. They just had a bath and got clean ones on. It was a lovely day and we awoke to the most beautiful snow. The girls had such a fun time opening all their gifts and I got a few nice and unexpected things as well. Madison brought a present home from preschool on her last day before the break and I was dying to find out what it was. She was so good not to tell us. It was a hand print in a hand plague and it had a pretty ribbon on it to hang it up. I absolutely love it, it was so amazing to get a gift just from her that she was so proud to give us. Christmas has always been so much fun but it's amazing now that we have kids to share it with. Their innocence and amazement of the magical holiday is so much fun to witness. I hope you all had a wonderful day.
