Heat

Our heater broke last night and we had a very chilly night and morning. The heater guy was here and fixed the heater by noon today and we were so cold that the girls went straight for the heater vent when it started blowing warm air and stayed there for quite a while. It was kind of funny that they did that and didn't want to leave it so I had to snap a few pics. Heat is definitely one of those things that get taken for granted, I'm so thankful it was fixed so quickly!
I finished all my Christmas shopping and Christmas meal shopping today. I attempted to go to Fred Meyer today but I pulled into the parking lot around 3:00 PM today and it took me 25 minutes to drive out the other end of the parking lot to head home. It was so ridiculously crazy that I didn't even attempt to get out of my car and go inside. We went back this evening and it was a lot better.
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and I'm excited. The girls will open their matching PJ's and wear them tomorrow night and we'll set cookies and milk out for Santa and carrot sticks out for the reindeer (exactly 7 carrot sticks according to Madison).
They are saying another storm is coming but we'll see if it's as they predict. I'm just happy we'll have a white Christmas. Hope everyone is warm, full, sheltered and loved this holiday season. There is so much to be thankful for as we celebrate Christmas and head into a brand new year.
