My Eye is Burning and other random thoughts

We had lab tonight and we worked with bacteria. I swear my left eye is burning and all I can think about is that I got something in it from the lab. Paranoid? I don't know but I'm pretty sure it's burning.......

I did make it to the food coop today although I didn't think I was going to. It was nice and new. It still seemed a bit small and there was too many people but I liked it. Much more convenient than the other location.

My nephew is doing okay. The medication seems to be helping so he won't be going to Children's until a week from tomorrow. I believe he meets with a specialist in Wenatchee tomorrow (that is coming from Seattle) and then will have tests and evaluations next week at Children's. What a scary thing this has been.

Kennedy and I are sick. She's been sick a few days but seems to be on the upswing. I have had a cough for a couple of weeks but didn't really feel sick until a couple of days ago. I think mine is starting to get a little better now as well. We will probably go to our class tomorrow unless either of us wakes up worse than we were today.

ER is playing in the background....what happened to that show? It's not very good anymore and neither is Greys Anatomy. What's with the dead boyfriend coming back to life and hanging around episode after episode? Speaking of Greys Anatomy.....this is actually embarrassing but the professor at class the first week mentioned Greys Anatomy and asked if people knew what that was. Many people said yes or shook their heads and I also thought I knew what he was talking about. Apparently it's an actual book and not just a TV show. I'm so lame.

Alright, better go check my eye and lay in bed for hours thinking of all the bacteria we saw tonight. Oh, by the way...we swabbed a garbage can for bacteria. For this experiment we won't be looking at WHAT bacteria are on there but just that there are and how much. Will be interesting to see how much bacteria is on the little door flap of a garbage can.
