Quiet House

Eric has taken the girls to Chuck E. Cheese. I've got a quiet house all to myself. It's been a very long week for all of us. Eric worked about 68 hours last week so this was his only day off. They were trying to get a job finished quickly so they worked several 12 hour days and worked Mon.-Sat. Kennedy and I have also been sick. We're feeling better but just can't shake it completely. It was a pretty good week despite all the long hours. Madison was very excited to go to Chuck E. Cheese today, Eric has never taken them by himself so it will be interesting to hear how it went. Kennedy likes to run off, when I took them last time she was hard to find a couple of times. Luckily when I took them we had the place practically to ourselves and I doubt Eric will have that luxury today on a weekend. I did send them early so it wouldn't be too hectic.
This is supposed to be my day to study as I've got my first test for Bio. class on Tuesday night. It's hard to get back into the groove of studying but I'm really enjoying the class so that makes it easier.
Yesterday I was really getting antsy after the long week and felt an incredible urge to do some online shopping. I successfully resisted except for one item that I needed (oil to make baby wipes). I found some for 7.99 online and the same size bottle was $17.00 at the coop the other day. I love a good deal. I just wanted to post this little tidbit in case you do much online shopping and don't already know about it........online coupon codes! I always google for them when I online shop. It saves me money and often shipping which it did in this case. The 7.99 oil would have had shipping of $6.00 (more than 75% of the price of the oil). I googled "Herbal Remedies coupon codes". It gave me a couple to choose from but I tried the one that claimed free shipping and it worked. I've used these coupon codes for REI and several other places before. It can save you a lot of money if you shop online.
We haven't been out of town in such a long time that we are really wanting to get away for a weekend. We will probably schedule a weekend in Seattle in the next few weeks just to get away without going too far. Maybe we'll try Vancouver instead. That would be a nice change from our usual zoo weekends in Seattle. At this point I don't really care as long as we go somewhere.
Well, I better quit procrastinating and crack the books. We have to learn all the part of the Eukaryotic cell and label them (among many other things). We also have to describe what each part does. Cells are pretty interesting little things you know.
