My nephew had his appointments at Children's Hospital today. The news wasn't very good. The quadrant of his heart that is causing the problem is the part that pumps the blood back into the body as opposed to where the blood enters the heart and it's
apparently an extremely rare thing to have the problem there. His resting
heart rate was extremely high and they will need to perform surgery within the next 30 days. I am really worried about him and can't imagine hearing this news about a child.

Jennifer -- I feel for you and all that your family is going through. Is your nephew at Children's at Seattle? I so admire those docs -- they are super super super. Cannot say enough about them. They operated on Jenica first when she was 3 mos old and again when she was 2. Both heart surgeries. No one should have to go through this, but those doctors are amazing.
