Craft Time

I watched a news show on TV the other night that was about kindergarten readiness. In the broadcast it talked about how too much TV is bad for kids. Of course we all know this but whenever I hear it I get serious guilt so the next morning we woke up and were going to seriously limit the TV use. The kids had breakfast and then we did a craft. The craft lasted all of 15 minutes and I'm probably being generous with that estimation. After that we did puzzles for a little bit but my kids were bored and it wasn't long afterwards that I put a movie in for them. I'm a horrible mother, ugh! I am more than seriously contemplating getting rid of our living room TV. We would still have one in the bedroom and we would have the computer that we could watch TV or movies on but it wouldn't be this giant thing at the center of our living room begging to light up our days and hypnotize my children. I have a pretty serious love-hate relationship with that thing. Anyway, above is a picture of Kennedy's craft and below is Madison. They had fun while it lasted! Now, I'm going to go turn on that blasted thing!
