The Build Up to the Big Day

These pictures were take the day before Halloween. We had our siblings class in the morning and Kennedy has really been getting into dressing up (as you can see). She had on her princess dress that day and had so many other clothes on top of it that we accidently went home with her still wearing a pink tutu under her costume.

This was also the "paint your pumpkin day" and, needless to say, Kennedy was covered in BLACK paint by the time she was finished. Her dad was on watch and apparently there was no smock involved. Her costume was completely ruined, I washed it three times when we got home but the paint didn't come off. This costume has gotten good use since Madison wore it for two years and Kennedy wore it last year. Good thing we had a new one.

Snack Time!
It was our day to bring snacks. I like to sign up for snack day just before a holiday and bring something fun. We brough carrots sticks with dip, apples peeled with our apple peeler (this was a big hit with the kids strangely enough since they were in spiral shapes) and our Halloween Spiders Treats! We made these every fall and the girls love them.

Cream Cheese inside Ritz Crackers (Peanut Butter works great too), 4 pretzel sticks broken in half and layed on the cream cheese and two raisins for eyes. Simple and yummy!
I spent the rest of the day at the library followed by Thee Woods getting caught up on some homework.

Those spider treats are so cool. I will have to make some for our neighbors little boy, he will love them as he is almost 2 and likes bugs.
