Weighing their candy. They each had 3 lbs.
On the radio this morning I heard about a B'ham dentist doing a Halloween candy buy-back. Her office was giving kids $1.00 per lb. of candy they brought in. They also got a cool blinking toothbrush, floss and a free meal at Red Robin. Best of all, the candy was being shipped to local soldiers who were overseas. When I got home I mentioned it to Madison not really thinking she would be so keen on the idea but her eyes lit up and she really wanted to do it. Our recent lesson in buying things with your own money has really interested her and she was very excited to get some dollars for candy. She also LOVES getting new toothbrushes and would eat at Red Robin every night if she could so it really was not a hard decision for her. She picked out her 5 pieces to keep and we bagged up the rest. We assisted Kennedy in picking a few for herself and bagged hers up (she wasn't quite as willing as her sister). I had an appointment so Eric took the girls and here are a couple of pictures. I hope this dentist does this every year because it's really a great thing and everybody wins!

Did you get to see Mambo and Punch? I love those guys they are so cute. Glad your girls did this, what a great way to give and not end up eating to much halloween candy.
