Madison got to make two gingerbread houses this week. On Wednesday her school had a field trip to Mountain View Elementary where they were paired with a 6th grade "buddy" to create a gingerbread house. I love this field trip, they did it last year as well. I love seeing the little kids with the older kids and how they interact. I was extremely impressed by how polite and courteous the 6th graders were with our little ones. Madison was worried before she ever went that she might get paired with a boy and sure enough she was. She handled it though and even had some fun in the process. Although I hate to see her uncomfortable I think it was good for her. She did a great job.
