Lowe's offers similar classes as The Home Depot does so Eric took the girls there this morning. They got cute little aprons, a certificate of merit, a patch for their apron, safety goggles and their projects. I'm not sure if Eric or the girls have more fun with these activities.
They made cute little wooden picture frames and Christmas trees today, both are ornaments and proudly displayed on our tree right now.

My little princess holding a hammer.While they were at Lowes I was home curled up on the couch reading a book. It was so nice to be able to do that, it has been a while since I could read for pleasure. They went to another activity after this so I had about four hours to myself today. It was relaxing but I was ready to see my girls again by the time they got home.
