The Coloring of the Eggs

These pictures were taken one week ago, the Saturday before Easter. It was time for our annual coloring of the eggs. The girls had so much fun and the eggs were beautiful. We had lots of embellishments and ideas but Madison wanted to do plain eggs with nothing on them, that would have been my choice too!

I must add that the girls seem to be more cooperative these days. Madison was very generous when Easter Egg hunting with her sister and would even show her where some eggs were hiding. I love how the above picture shows this just a little, of course there was plenty of spoon grabbing and color picking going on but, at least now, there are some moments of civility. I can only hope it's a glimpse of more to come.
