Milk, Cheese & The Wizard of Oz

Life has been busy and my blog posts are proof of that. Here is an attempt at catching up. Above is a picture of the girls after a Lowe's project with their Mother's Day planters. We had a lovely Mother's Day and the girls showered me with love and kisses all day.

This picture was taken on April 23rd. I took the girls to a children's production of The Wizard of Oz. This picture was taken of Kennedy as she walked from the car to the door, it was pouring.

Here is another picture from late April. Miss Kennedy LOVES her milk. She often drinks it in place of meals. I got these smaller containers to put the milk in so Madison could pour her own a bit easier but Kennedy loves to go and get them and ask for "MORE MILK".

Kennedy loves cheese almost as much as she loves milk. I sliced her a small piece on this day and the next thing I knew she had the entire block unwrapped and at the table on her plate taking giant bites out of it. It was so funny I had to snap a picture of it.
Eric finished working for the company in Spokane a week and a half ago. He's now back home and looking for work again. He's making all the rounds delivering resumes and calling sprinkler companies all over the state and beyond. We are hoping for a break soon but are trying not to get our hopes up too much. The economy is still bad and construction is lagging behind any upswing that is happening. There are several companies ready to use him as soon as there is enough work so hopefully he'll be able to work a little here and there until something more permanent comes along.
I continue to pursue my nursing degree. I have one last class to take before I can get onto the waiting list for the program. I was unable to register for this class for the summer quarter but am #3 on the waiting list so I'm hoping I can get it done this summer and get on that list. Once I am on the list for the LPN program there are three more prerequisites I need for the RN program so I can take those and get them out of the way. Once I take those (likely one at a time) hopefully my name will come up and I can get started in the program. It seems so far down the road but I have a feeling it will all go by quickly, so far it has. I went ahead and got myself on the waiting list for the radiology technology program just for the heck of it since I had all of those prerequisites done already.
The girls are doing great. We had a camping trip last weekend and we all had such a great time (pictures to follow). They got to see some family members and run around and play all weekend, it was great. Madison is in her last week of preschool so we have a big week ahead of a special bike day, family picnic and preschool graduation. They are both growing so fast and amaze me every day. I am blessed beyond belief.
