Today was the end of year Kindergarten Field trip to Birch Bay. Here is my group after they got off the bus.
Exploring the beach and finding lots of shore crabs, kelp, barnacles, hermit crabs, limpets, mussels and even this little starfish.

The weather cooperated nicely and the sun made an appearance for most of the time. I even got quite a sunburn.
Why do these girls seem so much older than kindergartners to me? She is growing up so fast!
After lunch we headed across the street and over the bridge to explore the woods.

Here is her class. They have come so far and learned so much this year. It was fun celebrating all of their hard work with them. Way to go, Monkeys!!
