Penguin Plate

Yesterday I got to spend the morning with Kennedy doing some fun stuff. I took her to CreativiTea for their new story time activity. The kids got to listen to two stories and then do a painting project. The project was a penguin plate, you can see the example in the picture above on the table. Kennedy wanted her background to be "PINK" so that is where she started.

Next was getting paint on her feet to make the penguin.

We had so much fun that I hope these continue. I've already signed us up for next month but there were only two of us yesterday (and one was the owner's daughter). I hope a few more people sign up so they don't stop doing them. They open the store an hour early just to do this for the kids (ages 3-6). For $12.00 you get story time, craft time and a great keepsake.

Hmmm, high arches! The lady wiped it off so we could try again.

Take two...exact same footprint, go figure! No worries, we just filled in the penguin a bit.

Ta-da! After this we went to Village Books where she got to spend her gift card that we gave her for Christmas on a book. After all of this fun it was off to school with a big hug and kiss. I love my Kennedy!

A Few Days Later....

It's a few days later and I just picked up her glazed plate. It turned out so cute, I just love it!

This is the cute penguin that I also just picked up that Madison painted a couple of days before Kennedy did her plate. I love taking my girls to CreativiTea, we always have so much fun!
