Extra-virgin olive oil: Olive oil is the healthiest oil you can buy, as it contains the highest monounsaturate content. But because it has a low smoke point, it should not be used for cooking.

I've been using Grapeseed Oil for cooking for about a year now and I love it!!! Once Olive Oil hits a certain temperature (it's smoke point) it starts to break down and actually creates harmful free radicals and it becomes very unhealthy (some even say cancer-causing). Olive Oil has a low smoke point.

Anyway, I love Grapeseed Oil and think it tastes better than Olive Oil. It has a very mild taste, actually I don't even taste it at all vs. the strong taste of Olive Oil (which is still the healthiest of oils as long as you don't cook with them).
