Zoo Fun!

We spent a beautiful day at Woodland Park Zoo yesterday. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cold. No rain and we even had some sun breaks. All the animals were out and active. It was quite a treat.

We went with two of my good friends and their kiddos. The kids did such a great job listening and all had a great time. They made our job easy yesterday!

I love this pic. Madison and her good friend Gavin. She refuses to tell him she likes him or wants to be his friend but she talks about him ALL the time and adores him. My friend Angie pointed out to me yesterday that she is just acting "cool". I never even thought that was the issue since I wasn't expecting that until she got a couple of years older. Ugh, already she is worried about being "cool". I've got my job cut out for me.

We had the best time and can't wait to go back again! I'm just not sure I can get Madison to go back with just us again now that she has had so much fun with friends.
