Apple Cider Pressing at Padilla Bay

This morning we took the girls to an activity at Padilla Bay Interpretive Center. I had never been there but have heard about it and was anxious to go. It was a beautiful place with lots of great things for kids. Today we did apple cider pressing with this old cider press and the kids had so much fun. We learned a lot about taking care of the land and also got to plant an apple tree. It was well worth the drive down there and we can't wait to go back again. Above is Kennedy tossing apples into the press.

My observer Madison taking it all in.

We didn't have a lot of time to check out the state park that is about 1/4 mile from here but hope to do that another time.

Beautiful view of the bay, this area was so lovely.
