Playing catch up

I'm finally playing a little catch up with my blog. It's been an extremely hectic week. I had my muscle lab test last night and I have another big exam on Monday. The next several days are pretty booked up and I've got to spend every moment in between studying. I had no idea this class was going to be so time consuming. It would be much easier if school was all I had on my plate but I've got a family to take care of as well so it's been quite challenging. It's also been very rewarding and interesting. I'm so glad I'm doing it, especially with Eric not working right now to help out more, but I will also be glad when it's done. I'll have a whole month off before the next one starts. I'm not sure if I'll take A&P II on campus or online, it will all probably depend on if Eric is working and when the classes are offered. I thought I had officially changed my mind to nursing but now am having second (or third or fourth) thoughts. I really don't know what to do. It seems I can't make my mind up very well lately so I've been really wondering what the right choice is. I think I would much rather do rad tech but also think that wouldn't make much sense to spend the same amount of time and money on something just to be unable to find a job in the end. Nursing would provide many more opportunities as well as enable me to have a much more flexible schedule and work part time if I want. I really wish BTC offered more programs. After I get a break from school I'm going to look into some online programs that would possibly offer me more choices.

Girls weekend is getting closer and I'm so excited. I can't wait to sleep, hang out with friends and be surrounded by beautiful views. As it gets closer I can feel the twinge inside at the thought of leaving my girls for the first time but I have to break away at some point and it really is coming at a perfect time. I'm feeling really overwhelmed by school and the stress of other things that a break is bound to give me a little time to escape, reflect, relax and reenergize. I can't wait!
