It's been a little while since I've posted so I thought I would do a quick update this morning. I'll be spending most of my day studying somewhere. I don't have the luxury of studying at home since the kids must be touching me, sitting on me, crawling on me or pulling me by the hand if I'm home. Speaking of my girls I had the most fun with them yesterday. I spent the morning with Madison at Otions soap bar in Bellingham making soaps. She had SO much fun doing that and I had so much fun doing it with her. I will definitely be taking her back there another time. In the afternoon I stayed at home with Kennedy for some fun time with her. We played the whole time and had so much fun. Unfortunately, I am usually trying to do a bunch of other things when I'm home but I made a point to just play with her and it was so much fun. I need to do better about one on one time with my kids because I enjoy it so much and so do they.
Madison went to a birthday party with her daddy while I was home with Kenney and she had tons of fun. It was at the bowling alley. Eric took some pictures so I'll try to post some later if I get a chance. I was so mad I didn't take any pictures of Madison making the soaps, I had the camera with me but forgot. Oh well. It was a great day around here other than the fact that Kennedy and I have a cold. We've had it all week and neither of us feel especially bad but we are just really congested and need to be close to the Kleenex at all times. Hopefully it will go away soon.
I have my muscles test on Wednesday and haven't actually studied much to speak of. I spent the entire day on Thursday on campus printing the diagrams, labeling them, coloring in the specific muscle and doing an incredibly long extra credit project worth only 4 points. The Wednesday night before that I was up until nearly midnight making a spreadsheet of all the muscles, their actions, origins and insertion points (all of which we need to know). All of this and no actual studying done. My life would be a lot easier if we were just provided the stuff we needed to know rather than have to spend all of this time compiling it. I guess making my life easier isn't their main objective. So, today will be the actual studying. The muscles themselves won't be the hard part, it will be all the other stuff (origins, insertions, etc.). I am amazed at how much time this one class is taking up but I am really enjoying it and doing really well (so far). I will be glad when it's over and hopefully proud of the result of my efforts.
That about it for this morning. The kids are crashing because I've been at my computer too long and I need to get ready and get to studying. I'll try to post a few pics first. Hope you all had a great weekend.
