Here are a couple of pictures from this past week, it's been a while since I've updated the blog. Things are busy and I'm trying to get through these last two weeks of school. I got registered for next quarter and will be taking A&P II as a hybrid class. It will be an online class with lab/tests on campus once a week for a four hour stretch. It's kind of hard to plan because I'm not sure what Eric will be doing but it was the class with the least amount of on-campus hours so I'm taking my chances and we'll see how it works out. Eric is not working yet but the company out of Kent said they really want him to work for them but they are just waiting until there is enough work (seems like we've heard that before....about a hundred times!). They seem to have a lot more work than other places and they want to talk to him the week after Thanksgiving. It's not the ideal situation but he needs to get back to work so we're going to go with it for now.
Above Picture: Madison washing her baby doll a couple of days ago.

It was our snack day at preschool on Tuesday so this picture was taken of Madison on Monday making zucchini bread muffins. They turned out really well using a recipe I found this past summer. The recipe doesn't look like anything special but the bread sure turns out yummy! Eric thought he was being funny by fixing Madison's hair like mine : ) It's hard to see in the picture but it's in a messy twisted pony tail on top of her head just like mine can be found all the time.
I decided to go ahead and schedule the girls for the H1N1 vaccine. This doesn't come without lots of hesitation and several stipulations. I will only be getting it for Kennedy if they still have (and will allow us to have one) single dose vaccine (preservative free) and a shot for Madison instead of the mist. I already know they won't give Madison the preservative free one since they told me it's only for kids younger than three (they get a different dose). I don't believe Peacehealth is supposed to be letting people pick and choose which vaccine they get but I have talked to them and it sounded like they might, it will all depend on who we get tomorrow when we go there so my plan is to get it for them but if things don't go in a way that I'm comfortable with we'll forget it. For some reason this has been such a hard decision for me and I've wavered back and forth on it but I am truly an advocate for vaccines and can't imagine if we didn't have them. They do more good than bad for sure and this vaccine was made in the same fashion and with the same ingredients as the seasonal flu vaccine (aside from the H1N1 flu strain) as the seasonal flu and I've been getting that for my kids every year so I'm finally feeling really good about my decision.
I'll let you know if we end up getting it or not.
