Berry Season in the Backyard

We are loving our backyard strawberries. I'm going to have a hard time keeping up as we are getting more and more each day. They are so yummy and we are getting less and less worms too it seems. Today there were only a couple of ripe strawberries that I had to pitch.
It's so much fun to move the leaves to the side and find bright red strawberries waiting for me.
Mmm!

These pictures were taken yesterday and we got even more than this today. They ripen so quickly. Tomorrow we are headed to Boxx Berry Farms to really load up. We'll be having yummy desserts and freezing some but I don't have the time to can jam this year. We have so much left from last year still that we should be set until next year. If we start getting worried there is still blueberry and raspberry season ahead for jam making.
